MINIPLANE TOP 80 THE MOST RELIABLE PARAMOTOR ENGINE
The Top 80 was developed by Diego Cecchetto and his team specifically for the Italian Per Il Volo Miniplane, which was introduced in 1989.

This engine has been powering Miniplane paramotors since the first Miniplane was built back in 1989. It’s proven itself to be very reliable, with easy maintenance, and readily available parts.
Exceptionally well designed fuel tank is keeping the airflow undisturbed behind the pilot. Many other paramotors have a box-style fuel tank located below the seat.
Remote choke is making very easy start in cold conditions. Also it’s a way to stop the engine in flight if kill switch has failed. Also Miniplane has one of the most significant safety features for any paramotor, a clutch. The clutch engages the propeller when you are ready for power and stops spinning it shortly after coming off power.
Fitted with the Top 80 engine, the all up dry weight is just 20.55 KG, which makes it one of the lightest paramotors on the market.
The bigger 140 prop has better aerodynamic efficiency and gains a significant percentage of thrust both in take-off and at high speed while simultaneously reducing noise.
Another advantage that we had foreseen and then verified with our test pilots, is a better behavior at high altitude, the profile of the propeller we have chosen maintains excellent performance as the air density decreases.
